Is it really illegal?
To down load music from limewire and MP player? And has there really been a law passed that says it was? Thats what BearShare said but is there any truth to it and if there is why are people still using them?

It breaks copyright laws when you illegally download or share content that you did not pay for. The law is sort of a blanket law that covers all types of copyright violations of intellectual property. Music, written material, television, film, art, software, photography, and other media is all included as far as copyright laws go.brbrI think that people still do it because its kind of like speeding. A lot of people do it, but just one little person doing it doesnt usually get caught every time. But you can. In all liklihood you wont get caught, but there is always a small chance that the RIAA might come knocking at your door. They are ruthless.
